WILL YOU WALK FOR RICE?
#WFR2014 is a fund-raising event featuring a 2.5 mile walk or run. Each year, about 1,000 participants help Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) buy rice and other food for the ACRS Food Bank.
The ACRS Food Bank is one of the most visited food banks in Puget Sound, serving more than 5,000 low income people, who make more than 120,000 visits, each year. We are also the only food bank in the area regularly providing cultural staples of the Asian Pacific American diet, like rice, tofu and soy milk.
Do you LOVE TO BIKE? Do you LOVE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE? Well here is your chance, New Life Fellowship is looking for sponsors, participants, and folks for their upcoming “Ride Well” Bike-a-thon in hopes to raise $25,000 for an AIR DRILL for water wells in Honduras. Click on the link below to learn more and let’s work together as one community to provide for another!
2013 Wellspring Annual Report is now available. Ephesians 3:20 tells us Jesus is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or even imagine. Read about how Jesus has been working through Wellspring helping young adults to connect or reconnect with the church.

THE MONTH OF EATING IS DELICIOUSLY UPON US!!
Every 3rd Thursday of the month, Wellspring hosts a fellowship activity for all to join in for happy times. =) Anyone can come, so bring your friends, family, coworkers, or anyone you think might enjoy hanging out and meeting new people. =D
This month is Thanksgiving month so of course we’re going to do a POTLUCK and play some good ole fashioned games! So nostalgic.
Date: Thursday November 21
Location: Zion Church
Eric will be preparing a delicious main dish for us so come to find out what it is and to enjoy it by EATING IT!!
What to bring: Bring any kind of side dish, dessert, or drink you feel like bringing. It would be helpful if you commented on what you’re bringing so someone else doesn’t bring the same thing. No time to cook? Bring $5-10 (whatever you feel like giving) to cover costs for people who did bring food. Either is fine with us! =)
We’re still deciding on the game but there will be prizes whatever it is!! Feel free to comment and let us know if there’s a game you’d particularly like to play! If we don’t hear from anyone it’ll be a surprise!
Hope to see many of you there for a time of good eats and fellowship!

Wellspring’s Discipleship Thursdays will be on a short hiatus for November and December, 2013. We are in the process of reorganizing and revisioning our small group studies and are planning on starting up these gatherings in early 2014. However, Wellspring will still be hosting fellowship activities the next two months. On November 21 we will celebrate Thanksgiving at our Thanksgiving potluck and game night. And on December 19 we will hold our annual Christmas party and White Elephant Gift Exchange. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you!
Mission Trip Opportunity to Cambodia!
Wellspring invites you to attend a mission trip to Cambodia on February 13-23, 2014. Why go to Southeast Asia in February? Two good reasons are lower cost (around $2000) and better weather.
The trip will be led by Dr. Binh Nguyen, who knows SE Asia very well and was instrumental in helping to establish the Presbyterian Church of Vietnam. For more information, please contact Ken Sunoo (firstname.lastname@example.org)
